Employee &
Team Assessments

An organization wouldn’t spend $50,000 to install a new piece of equipment without taking a glance at the directions! Yet, every day businesses hire and deploy employees with little or no thought to helping managers understand how these employees work.  Assessments can serve as a manager’s “operator’s manual” for their people by giving them an objective inside look at the behaviors and motives of individuals and teams so they can get the very best from them.

Some of the Assessment Instruments We Work With

Profiles
Performance Indicator

The Profiles Performance Indicator is a personality style assessment that measures an individual’s motivational intensity and behaviors related to productivity, quality of work, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, and adapting to change, as well as response to stress, frustration, and conflict.

The output from this assessment serves as a “manager’s operating manual” for an employee, which helps managers better motivate, coach, and communicate with the employee. This tool can be used to help an individual better understand their strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies, as well as to help a manager understand how maximize employee performance. It also serves as the basis for the Team Analysis (see next column).

Profiles
Team Analysis

The Profiles Team Analysis outlines team members’ characteristics compared to the team leader’s characteristics giving insight into the role he or she must play to keep team members focused, maximize their performance and achieve team objectives. Data in the report are used to eliminate conflict, build cooperation, improve communication and assure that the team achieves desired results.

Profiles Manager-Employee Fit Report

The Profiles Managerial Fit Assessment measures critical workplace compatibility factors between managers (executive, director, supervisor, team leader, etc.) and their employee(s) to determine managerial fit. Understanding the dynamics of the supervisor-subordinate relationship helps the manager work more effectively with each employee by recognizing where their perspectives are similar and where they differ. It also provides specific steps to increase manager and employee productivity to endorse better workplace compatibility.
